5 weeks after the disappointment of losing out to Cowdenbeath in the Play Offs East Stirlingshire are back in pre-season training tonight.
No new faces will take part in the pre-season training, as yet, although manager Jim McInally will be running his eye over one or two trialists as he looks to boost his squad. Club captain Craig Tully is the latest member of the squad to have signed a contract for next season and 5 players have verbally agreed to extend there stay at the club, although the club have yet to release exact names it would appear that with the exception of Sean Anderson (who has joined Montrose) and Gary Kelly, Stephen Oates, Jamie Newman and the players on loan, that all last season’s squad will be looking at pushing on from last year.
The club have still not released details of any pre-season fixtures although ESSM is lead to believe that the core of pre-season will be the Stirlingshire cup games against Stirling and Dumbarton. A closed door game has also been arranged away to Jim Duffy’s promotion pushers Brechin. More news will follow.
