Injury forces Jimmy to retire

Shire midfielder 26 year old Jimmy Gibson has been forced to retire due to an old pelvic injury flaring up again. Jimmy who last played on August the 16th in a 2-1 defeat from Annan Athletic has previously played for Rangers, Clyde and Partick Thistle. After taking advice from specialist doctors Jimmy was left with no choice but to retire from football. He will pursue a career away from football and we wish Jimmy all the best.
