Ray Farningham will take charge of his first game as Montrose interim boss when East Stirlingshire are in town.Steven Tweed has stood down because of work commitments and is unavailable in defence, as is banned Alan Campbell.

Hugh Davidson and Nicky Smith will also miss out through injury against a Shire who have striker Stephen Maguire back.

Defenders Craig Tully, Dean Richardson and Darren Kelly could all recover from knocks, but midfielder Paul Weaver is suspended for the visitors.

Montrose interim manager Ray Farningham: "I have agreed to take the side for the next 10 games and I will give it my best shot, starting against East Stirling.

"They are a good set of players at this club, but we have carried no luck at all with injuries this season and that has affected results."

East Stirlingshire assistant manager David Nicholls:"We will take heart from our first-half performance against Arbroath at the weekend, when we were the better team and were unlucky to go in level."
