Midfielder Sean Anderson has returned for a second spell with East Stirlingshire after leaving Montrose. The 21-year-old spent a season with Shire before heading to their Third Division rivals last summer.
He left the side who finished bottom of the table last season in January and joined junior outfit Lochee United.
But he has become Jim McInally's first signing of the close season and the Shire coach was impressed with his form before leaving Links Park.
"I saw him a few times for Montrose last season and every time I saw him he looked their best player," McInally told Shire's website.
I know people had different opinions on him the last time he was with us
East Stirlingshire coach Jim McInally
"I still think he is a talented boy who has something to offer us.
"I know people had different opinions on him the last time he was with us, but there were some matches in which I thought he was outstanding for us."
Anderson began his career in Celtic's youth side and also spent time with Dundee United.
